Utensils & Ingredients

A couple of scans from my Information Design one day workshop. I had to describe how to "rustle up a risotto" without using words.

I'm happy with some of the individual bits of illustration but not the final thing, which I won't put up here but I'm hoping to re-do at some point because I didn't really get the gist of it and it isn't very sequential.

But here are some bits that I do like.

I'm thinking of moving it on by doing each stage on a page of a little notebook, mimicking the way that recipes are sometimes passed on through generations. But I might be thinking too far ahead too soon.
